Basement & Cellar Waterproofing for London & The Home Counties

Marlborough buildings, Bath

A P Gooch were honoured to be given the task of sympathetically waterproofing this beautiful grade two listed building working closely with the builders and the client to achieve a dry habitable environment.

The site of Marlborough Buildings formed part of The Commons and was originally called Milk Street. By 1790, it was renamed Marlborough Buildings: the name ‘Marlborough’ thought to be a contraction of ‘Muddle Brook’ (a stream coming down the hill from St Winifred’s Well, which ran just behind the gardens.
