"I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the work you carried out on my coal hole. As you know, it was completely unusable before you started, the walls running with moisture and sometimes even with pools of water on the floor. The smell of damp used to penetrate through the house and the adjoining bathroom was always cold. Now, though, I have a wonderful dry usable storage room, which will make such a difference.
Your workmen protected all the floors and fittings before they started work and they did their best to minimize mess and disturbance. They explained what they were doing as they installed the pump and the membrane, and they completed all the work in the allotted time. On top of this, when I had a flat battery, they miraculously produced jump leads and started my car for me! I would happily recommend you and your firm to anyone considering a damp proofing project"

Now that the remedial work (at least your share of it) on my house has been completed I thought to let you know how satisfied I am with all aspects of it. The written quotation set out very clearly exactly what work was to be carried out and how much it would all cost and the additional bits which we hadn't anticipated, such as new radiator valves and skirting board, were priced very reasonably.
It was important to me that everything be completed before the end of June so it was pleasing that you could start so soon after receiving the go ahead and complete the work within a reasonable time frame. On no occasion did your colleagues fail to turn up when expected and at least once they came a day earlier than anticipated!! It was apparent from your first visit that you have a professional and trustworthy team and I was more than happy to leave the house keys with them and let them get on with the work.
As you forewarned me the work created a bit of a mess but all the debris was removed as per your quotation and a number of little things which I asked to be put right were done so without quibble. I have had occasion to recommend the surveyor who carried out the damp inspection in my property and I wouldn't hesitate to pass on the details of your company to anyone requiring similar remedial work.

PS The difficulty of parking in my road has caused problems in the past when workmen have needed to get close to a property. One of my neighbours, who has a designated parking space and monitors any abuse, informed me that you and your colleagues were the most considerate lot that we have ever had!!
